Each of the Lip Lacquer comes in a sturdy plastic pot with a black twist on cap. I accidentally dropped it while doing swatches and surprisingly there are no dents or scratches on the pot. Similar to the cream blushes, these Lip Lacquer Pots are also made in Taiwan and distributed in the US.
Okie Dokie Artichokie is such a cute name for this lip gloss but it's not related to the actual color of the product. The color in the pan is a bit difficult to photograph depending on the lighting. Indoors, it comes out as coral as shown below.
With outdoor lighting, it is a much softer peachy pink which is closer to the actual color of the product.
This color swatches as a peachy pink with slight shimmer.
The lipgloss glides on smoothly and effortlessly on the lips. I used a lip brush to apply instead of my fingers to avoid contaminating the product for hygienic reasons. This color will be flattering for all skin tone to add a nice soft glow to the lips. It is not sticky and does not have any smell when applied.
Overall, I really like NYX Lip Lacquer Pot for the affordability and moisturizing feel. It does not dry out my lips and has a good 4-5 hours wear time if I don't eat greasy food. I love how I can just apply this on and go without feeling like I have something on my lips. Okie Dokie Artichokie warms up the lip with a peachy pink color and makes them look moist, not overly glossy unlike some lipglosses. Do note that not all of the colors are as dark or pigmented as Okie Dokie Artichokie with the exception of Simply Red and Ultra Violet. If you are looking for opaque/more pigmented colors, those will be your choices. The other colors offered by NYX are lighter with shimmer to add a simple glossy look to the lips.

My fave lipgloss is NYX natural. :] I like nyx lipglosses but pots are really not for me, hate dipping my fingers in it. But this one looks pretty on your lips! :]

me too, i'm not fond of pots, i always end up not using it or i just try to apply the product directly to my lips hahaha! i know it sounds funny but i hate having to dip my hands on it! :P
I have never tried Nyx Lip Laquers but I sure like this one! My favorite lipglasses are MAC Lipglasses!
NYX are so expensive in Japan, i'd rather buy japanese stuff over there.. that is a pretty summer color!
Very pretty color! I like it! =] However, I'm not a big fan of pots just bc I have to stick my fingers in them.
