As you may have noticed, the blog has been on a hiatus for a couple of weeks. I have been busy traveling and it's not always easy to get internet connection overseas. However, I am back and excited to share with you a wide range of products that are available at duty-free counters.
Jill Stuart is a popular high end brand in Asia (primarily found in Japan, Taiwaan, Korea, and Hong Kong) with a good selection of makeup, skincare, and perfume products. The most notable feature of all Jill Stuart products is the gorgeous packaging. If you are a lover of pink and very girly/princess designs, I think you'll love the brand. I fell head over heels with Jill Stuart when I first visited the store during my Hong Kong trip. I picked up 3 products that I personally was impressed with from the line. Here I have the loose powder in 04 Glow to review. The loose powder is 20g/0.7oz retailing at 330HKG which translates to about $43USD.
I've only been gone for a couple of days but it feels like forever! Luckily the weather has cleared up so no more rain and it's not too hot. My point and shoot camera doesn't produce nice clear pictures like the DSLR so pardon the crappy photos. Couple of updates on the current excursions...
I found My Beauty Diary Masks! Went a little bit overboard and bought way too many. I got 1 box of Black Pearl, 1 box of Rice Peptide, and the Asia Treasure Hunt Set (10 pieces of natto mask, 10 pieces of Japanese cherry blossom mask, 10 pieces of sake yeast mask, 2 pieces of platinum hydra mask and 5 ml of extremely hydrating essence). I also bought Silk Whitia HANFANG Whitening Revitalizing Mask and HANFANG Anti-Oxidizing Mask. These are supposedly the new whitening masks from Silk Whitia. The boxes for the Asia Treasure Hunt set is so cute but I had to throw it away b/c it was too darn heavy.
